Reckie

The term reckie for photographers, videographers and film makers is when they go take a look at potential sites for their shoots. This helps them to know what the lighting looks like at different times of the day, sound quality of the place, noise levels and what equipment they'll need to bring and where the electrical outlets are.

This is a reckie of all the locations we have decided to use for our music video which are the studio at college, the bus and out side.

This is the reckie for the studio which we will be using to shoot our photo shoot and the bridge of our song. The noise level in the studio is very low so no disruptions will interrupt the filming. The lighting is very low but there are lights hanging from the ceiling from either sides. Only a HD camera will be needed for this location as there are lights already here.

This is the reckie for the bus for our opening scene. For the bus scene we couldn't take a light because there are no electrical outlets as well as it being a small area to film in but we were using a HD camera which had high key lighting on helping brighten the scene up for filming.

Here in this image you can see that the high key lighting has helped brighten up the image unlike the image above. The bus was in a secluded are where Mayday bus service keep all their coaches so it helped to film as there were no noises.
